Formula 1 racing began in 1950 at the Silverstone Circuit.  Back then, pit crews could service a racecar and send it on its way in a chaotic 67 seconds.  As the sport developed, teams began to realize just how important an efficient pit stop could be and in the 1970s, that time dropped by more than half to 27 seconds.  The pit crews of that decade reveled in their achievement, what an incredible feat they accomplished in cutting pit stop time in half, right?  Kind of.  In 2023, the new record for fastest pit stop ever was recorded.  The time?  1.8 seconds.

The success of any team effort depends on every individual being in the right place with the right tools.  A pit stop of just over a minute probably felt fast enough in the 1950s, but any fan of F1 racing can tell you it would be considered glacial today thanks to highly-polished training techniques and the power of hydraulic tools.  At Pathfinder, we adopt a similar mentality when teaching our material specifically designed for groups and teams.   Every individual can benefit from thoroughly researched and accessible frameworks designed to enrich their work life and further their company contribution, but the value is perhaps best realized in a team environment.
